Our expert team has many years’ experience of negotiating leases both landlords and tenants and will ensure that your interests are protected and that the final agreement reflects both the latest law and your individual requirements.

Residential Letting

We can advise on and draft residential tenancy agreements to suit your needs. This includes assured shorthold tenancies and licences to occupy. We can also advise on and draft supplementary documents such as schedules of condition, inventories, and agreements for pets.

We have expertise in deposit protection matters for residential tenancies. This includes advising on when to protect the deposit, which deposit protection scheme to use, whether a tenant has a claim under the tenancy deposit protection legislation (Housing Act 2004 and Localism Act 2011) and how to resolve a deposit related dispute at the end of the tenancy.

We also advise landlords, estate/letting agents and tenants on matters relating to obtaining possession of property during and at the end of tenancy agreements. We can draft and serve the statutory notices (s.8 and s.21 notices) and issue and manage possession claims.
